OK, so Frank was out in the main part of the basement as I wrote the above comment. Less than a minute later he went back through the cat door and into the garage totally unassisted by Mama.

Note: this shot is in our lovely new(ish) bathroom, where the cats used to live. As of mid-April or so, though, their litter box, food, hiding spots, etc. have been in the garage. There’s a Frankie-sized cat door in the downstairs hall, and all but Frank use it on a regular basis…

The plan is to coordinate their collars with their nails. I know, they’re guys, but they preen a lot, priss a lot, whine a lot, etc., etc., etc., so they might as well dress up.

The colors will probably wind up thusly:

Frankie – blue collar, blue nails
Nymmie – red collar, red nails
Sunny – black collar, pink nails (à la Diana Degarmo and Karen Chunn)
