{"id":299,"date":"2009-04-26T13:57:36","date_gmt":"2009-04-26T19:57:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/daniel\/first-quick-zoo-trip-of-the-year-299"},"modified":"2009-04-26T13:57:36","modified_gmt":"2009-04-26T19:57:36","slug":"first-quick-zoo-trip-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/daniel\/first-quick-zoo-trip-of-the-year-299","title":{"rendered":"First quick zoo trip of the year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We only had a short time before Daniel&#8217;s nap, but it was such a pretty day we took a flying trip to the zoo.\u00a0 Papa had flipped Daniel&#8217;s carseats to face forward, so Daniel got to try them out in the new position.\u00a0 His legs aren&#8217;t cramped now.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" src=\"\/younguns\/files\/109zoo1.jpg\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since he&#8217;s really drooling with these pesky molars, I left a bib on him while we were in the car.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" src=\"\/younguns\/files\/109zoo2.jpg\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He soon found his sandal strap and undid it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" src=\"\/younguns\/files\/109zoo3.jpg\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t he cute in his umbrella stroller?\u00a0 His cute yellow romper has a giraffe and says &#8220;short stuff&#8221;. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" src=\"\/younguns\/files\/109zoo4.jpg\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We were only there a short time, but Daniel did more people watching than animal watching.\u00a0 A meerkat came right up to and put his feet on the glass right in front of Daniel, but Daniel wouldn&#8217;t look at him.\u00a0 We saw these salamandars out on the sidewalk as we were leaving and don&#8217;t think Daniel saw those either.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" src=\"\/younguns\/files\/109zoo5.jpg\" height=\"392\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Papa set Daniel on the front seat for a few minutes while he got the air going and cooled the Jeep a bit.\u00a0 &#8220;So which button do I push to start this thing?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" src=\"\/younguns\/files\/109zoo6.jpg\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We only had a short time before Daniel&#8217;s nap, but it was such a pretty day we took a flying trip to the zoo.\u00a0 Papa had flipped Daniel&#8217;s carseats to face forward, so Daniel got to try them out in the new position.\u00a0 His legs aren&#8217;t cramped now.
