{"id":31,"date":"2008-05-02T01:57:38","date_gmt":"2008-05-02T07:57:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/younguns\/quick-update-31"},"modified":"2008-05-02T01:57:38","modified_gmt":"2008-05-02T07:57:38","slug":"quick-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/daniel\/quick-update-31","title":{"rendered":"Quick Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I wanted to let everybody know that everything is going pretty well, all things considered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;re home!\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Daniel is very healthy<\/li>\n<li>Mama&#8217;s blood pressure is good<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re slowly figuring all this out<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re completely in love with the little guy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;re going through the new parent &#8220;freak out&#8221; stage<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re having to\u00a0really adjust to\u00a0everything\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re completely exhausted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;re NOT trying to be antisocial &#8211; it&#8217;s just sort of working out to be that way right now. Give me (Papa) a quick call on the mobile phone any time for updates and questions about visits, etc. I&#8217;m going to try to post some more pictures of the little fella soon. We&#8217;re just trying to get the sleep thing figured out at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>God has really blessed us, not just with such a perfect little boy, but also with all the friends and family that have\u00a0expressed so much love for our\u00a0little clan. We appreciate everything very, very much, but just ask for a little understanding\u00a0if we&#8217;re not able to\u00a0show that gratitude very well right now!\u00a0I did want everyone to know how grateful we were, and that we really will get around to making a formal declaration of the same eventually. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Thank you!
