October 1 – Me: “Are you in a mood?” Silence. Daniel, five minutes later: “I am not in a mood.”<\/p>\n
October 3 – Daniel often says that he will do something when he’s “a little bit older.” Just now he said he was going to do something “not when I am a little bit older, but when I’m a different guy.” I had no idea how to respond to that one. I was too busy biting my tongue not to laugh out loud.<\/p>\n

October 7 – Daniel holding a pen to his temple: “I need a clip.” Me: “What do you need a clip for?” Daniel: “To clip this pen here like this.” Me: “Why do you need to clip it there?” Daniel: “Because that’s what Handy Manny does.”<\/p>\n
October 8 – Daniel holding up a toy airplane: “Where did this come from?” Me: “Phillip’s Toy Mart. Where did you come from?” Daniel: “Toys’R’Us. Do they have babies at Target? Do they have boys?”<\/p>\n
