After the first row, the same row is just repeated over and over, so a really easy pattern to learn. Repeat from ** across to end. Turn.<\/p>\n<p>Row 2: Ch3 (counts as a dc), skip first dc **(dc, ch1, dc) in next dc, dc in next ch, dc in next dc, ch1, skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, dc in next ch, dec (uses next 3 dc), dc in next dc, dec (uses next 3 dc), dc in next ch, dc in next dc, ch1, skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, dc in next ch, (dc, ch1, dc) in next dc, dc in next dc. Turn.<\/p>\n<p>Repeat row 2 until afghan is desired length.<\/p>\n<p>The blanket can be made in a solid color or can be made with any number of color changes. The best way to make a color change is to finish all but the very last pull through of the two loops of the last\u00a0double crochet of a row. Cut yarn with a few inches of tail and join with new color next to stitch. Pull new color through last two loops.
