A friend of mine has volunteered with a local hospice to supply hand stitched lap blankets, shawls and preemie blanket and hat sets. \u00a0She delivers items quarterly. \u00a0These are the items I donated to her September batch.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/knit\/files\/10sept01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-219\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/knit\/files\/10sept01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/knit\/files\/10sept01.jpg 600w, http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/knit\/files\/10sept01-300x100.jpg 300w, http:\/\/blogs.thetucker.com\/knit\/files\/10sept01-150x50.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This began as a baby blanket I wasn&#8217;t going to finish, so I finished it as a lap blanket. \u00a0The pattern is Afghan #1 by Rachel J.
