Cartoons are funny
Poppy and I couldn’t figure out what was particularly funny about this cartoon, but Daniel thought it was a riot.
Cartoons are funnyPoppy and I couldn’t figure out what was particularly funny about this cartoon, but Daniel thought it was a riot. TV with PoppyDaniel likes to watch TV with Poppy. Right after this they discovered the Little Einsteins show which Daniel loves. Beyond the call of dutyThe small circle of people Daniel can cope with right now – Mama, Papa, Mimi and Poppy – can’t always take care of themselves, but they’ll do anything in the world for him. His grandparents have been here since the first, and because of that they imprinted themselves on his brains before the Zantac nightmare ever began. And that’s really fortunate because Daniel has started his next adventure: teething! I hear that some babies make it through that phase with absolutely no discomfort whatsoever, and we wish (and Daniel most of all!) that he fit that description. But, alas, alack, aherm and acrap, I must unbundle yet another sadness: he doesn’t, not one little bit, and Mama and I aren’t yet self-sufficient. Here’s the scenario. Ready? OK:
So Poppy, who’d already given s much time to his favorite boy in the whole world, showed up to sit… …sick and with a 101.4° fever. That’s true devotion. Old fashioned sink bathReflux update: We discovered that Zantac and Zegerid interfere with each other, so we had to go cold turkey off the Zantac. This leaves Daniel unprotected from the acid until the Zegerid starts working. Thursday morning his acid was really strong, probably a side effect of coming off Zantac after being on it for several weeks. Poppy and Mimi needed a distraction, so used an old fashioned sink bath, which Daniel enjoyed dispite his acid woes. Moses BasketPop and Mimi got Daniel a Moses basket. It was supposed to come a month ago, but didn’t. 🙁 We certainly could have used it a month ago. But we will use it for whatever time we can. Daniel seems to like it. After Pop put the stand together and put Daniel in the basket, Daniel really studied Pop for a long time. When I put Daniel in it for the first time asleep, he pinched the soft sheet in his fingers. More picture dayThis is Pop and Mimi in Daniel’s room getting him ready for his pictures. Note that his hand is in his face, which is pretty typical for him. Of course we get these pictures made on what was probably the hottest day yet this year. It was hot in the studio and hot in the car coming and going. Poor little Daniel got overheated and needed to air out for a while before getting back in his favorite PJs. So this provided a rare opportunity to get some pictures of Daniel hanging out in his onesie. He’s got some really cute arms and legs. Daniel with Pop and MimiThis picture is from a couple of weeks ago. It’s a really cute picture of Daniel really studying Mimi. And this is a picture from today of Daniel with Pop. |
