Nine months old todayDaniel is nine months old today. It was too yucky to go out, so we played dress up at home. Daniel was too busy for pictures. Nine month check-up and tooth fiveYesterday Daniel had his nine month check-up. He’s doing just great. He was tested for anemia and passed with flying colors. He’s 27 3/4 inches tall and weighs 19 1/2 pounds. Daniel was moaning every 30 minutes or so last night. It appears that tooth number five came in. I couldn’t get a clear picture of it, but Daniel has his thumb in the general area where it is. Papa Play Pen Pictures and VideoSo today Papa got snappy with the camera when Daniel was in the play pen. It’s always a temptation to take pictures of him there because he’s usually so happy in there and makes the cutest faces and biggest smiles. LipI finally got the picture I’ve been wanting. Daniel has been doing this with his lower lip a lot lately. Up against a wallDaniel really enjoyed playing in his pen this morning. I put him in there with his back to this pillow. In the course of his play time he scooted past the middle then turned and scooted back to facing the pillow. He was being so cute I couldn’t help but take a bunch of pictures. Sadly, this is due to teething, but it is so cute when he sucks in one side of his lower lip. His tongue has also been a favorite lately. Little Red Riding HoodDaniel has started pulling off his blue stocking cap most of the time when we go out, and with these cold days, he really needs to keep his head covered. Mama made him a red hoodie type hat. This is him modeling it yesterday morning. He still managed to pull it off to the back after this picture, but he probably won’t be able to manage that in his car seat. Play Pen ActionDaniel is still crawling backwards, but he manages to scootch forward sitting on his bottom. I placed him in the pen with his back to the pillow in the corner and he’s scootched out to past the middle. Here is a little playing action. |
