Knee Slapping Good
I don’t know if it was Daniel’s TV show (Caillou) or his breakfast that was so knee slapping good, but he did a lot of knee slapping this morning.
Singing in the bathtubDaniel had a great time playing outside in the dirt, so needed a bath earlier than usual. He’s having a good time singing in his bath. Playing in the dirtAfter months of unrelenting heat, Daniel was finally able to play outside today. He enjoyed his time in the dirt. He mentions that he can hear Mr Denny our neighbor talking. He said “both talk” because Ms Glenda was also talking. Got those bath time bluesSometimes Daniel doesn’t want to take a bath, so when he brought up “bath time” while playing the harmonica, I can only assume he was singing The Bath Time Blues. Alphabet Right ThereDaniel has been on an absolute alphabet craze for the past week or so. He wakes saying the alphabet and whispers it to himself when he’s playing. Here he wants me to write the alphabet in my sudoku daily calendar. HumidityDaniel’s hair reacts to the humidity.
Cat AlphabetDaniel’s cat said the alphabet. He left out a few letters, but didn’t do too bad for a cat. You know the cat is the one that said it because at the end Daniel says “out mouth right there”. Second Molars UpdateDaniel has had some painful times getting his second molars. The bottom right was in on August 11th and the bottom left on August 25th. One corner of the upper right is in and it’s been bothering Daniel lately. Self ImitationAfter watching the video of himself drawing on his magnet board, he got his magnet board out again and had to doodle some more. He is drawing bicycles so is saying lots of “wheels”, “pedals” and “handle bars”. He pretends to hurt himself on the eraser since he really did hurt himself in the video. Not Really a Tape MeasureDaniel continued to play with the ID tag holder from Ms Edith. He went around measuring things with it. |
