Our sweet Daniel is two years and three months old today. He is talking up a storm. He is saying longer and longer sentences and has a new word or two every day. He will repeat any word.
These are some videos from this month of Daniel playing with his play tools. He likes to “fix” things.
Daniel and Mama went to a nearby park on Independence Day. Daniel didn’t get to pet the police horses this time, but got to watch them. He also enjoyed the trees. We went to another part of the park and Daniel enjoyed walking over the bridges and looking at the pond.
We stopped by Aunt Christina’s house yesterday. She wasn’t home, but there were lots of branches that had fallen out of the tree in her front yard. Mama picked up a couple of the larger ones and threw them onto the brush pile that was already started by the street. Daniel took that cue and became a man with a mission. He gathered up all the sticks in the yard and threw them onto the pile. He worked really hard on a hot day.
After all that hard work Daniel fell asleep in the car.

Daniel is extremely proud of his new Radio Flyer tricycle. He can’t reach the pedals, so he sits on the upper deck and pushes the floor with his feet. He has been eating all his meals and snacks on his new “cycle”.

Daniel can get creative on the use of things. Papa lined the big urn with a garabage bag because Daniel has been dropping things in it for a long time. Here, Daniel has pushed his wagon up to the urn so that he can stand in the wagon and add things to and take things from the urn.
When Daniel woke early from his nap I scrambled for an activity to keep him entertained. I made some home made play dough, which Daniel seemed to enjoy.
