Eighteen Months Old

Unbelievable as it is, our boy is eighteen months old today.  His last canine came in on Saturday the 24th.  He is still waiting on his last first molar on the upper left.  Three of the corners are through and it’s been bothering him.  He puts my finger on it to tell me it hurts.

We had some professional pictures taken today.  I will post them as soon as I have them.

This is a little video of Daniel playing with bags of beans.  Those are some of his favorite toys.  Note that the TiVo is covered with blocks and the receiver is covered in books.

Grocery Bag

When Daniel spotted this grocery bag filled to a normal level, he couldn’t resist adding to it.  Once it got taller than he could handle on his own, he wanted Mama’s help with it.

Basket

I finally got a couple of videos of Daniel with his basket in the crook of his arm.  He does this all the time.

Even more vent fun

Daniel just loves putting things in the vent.  Before this video, Daniel had asked for a Ziploc that was on top of the refrigerator, opened it and filled it with his magnetic alphabet.  In this video, he puts the whole thing in the hole.

My vent runneth over

We had a mixed day yesterday.  Papa was home from work, which was fun.  We went to a nearby park and saw an R/C airplane.  Daniel has really been into airplanes for several weeks now.  We also went to a nearby meat-n-three and Daniel really enjoyed some chicken, peas, squash and fries.

Daniel still lacks a canine and a first molar.  Yesterday the canine was hurting really bad and just moaned and groaned all day.  It was hurting so bad during his bath that he just clung to me and cried and he usually loves his baths.

He’s feeling a little better today and has been busy with his “store” and his vent.  He filled up the vent to overflowing.

“Writing”

Daniel pulled a couple of steno pads and pens down from the table.  The pens aren’t clicked on, but Daniel is “writing” on the pads.  Notice that most of his writing is left handed.  Papa and Mama are righties, so we might have a challenge teaching a lefty how to write.

TV Cabinet

Daniel felt a need to move a bunch of his toys to the TV cabinet this morning.

Scribble

Daniel is a pretty proficient scribbler for a little guy.  He always uses his left hand, and has shown a left hand tendency for a long time, so he may be left handed.

Laundry Fun

Daniel loves to “help” Mama with the laundry.
