Seeing Papa and Poppy working on the toilet a couple of weeks ago inspired Daniel.  When he gained access to a guitar capo, he thought it looked a lot like those toilet tools so is giving it a try.

Daniel is learning vocabulary.  My finger is a magic pointer that causes me to name any object it is on.  Daniel takes me by the finger and leads me around putting my finger on things.

Mama gave Daniel an empty mayo jar that he played with for over an hour straight.  He helped himself to one of Papa’s shirts from the laundry room and his own tooth brush.

Daniel very purposefully took his Mammy quilt up on the couch with him and put it over himself and laid back on the pillows.  He’s got the art of vegging down.

We took Daniel outside to get some pictures.  There was a play set at the chuch next door.  We were trying to get Daniel to stand, but he was too interested in the mulch.

I whistled to get Daniel to look at us and he just had to whistle too.

Daniel was interested in looking at people and started scooting further and further out until he was a few yards from us.  He didn’t realize it but when he happened to glance behind him and realized it, he high tailed it back.

Mama and Poppy’s family had their annual reunion.  Daniel was a bit too small to go last year so this year was his first time.  Daniel found a deer to play with and enjoyed spending a lot of time with his Poppy.  Daniel ate some chicken, potato and squash and before we left he had a big time emptying his diaper bag.

Mama had to confiscate Daniel’s potato.  He chomped some big chunks out of it.

Who would have ever known there were so many things to do with a potato.  Daniel found a potato in the laundry room (that’s where I keep them) and walked the length of the kitchen with it.  In this first video he has it at the other end of the kitchen and then takes it in the living room and puts it in a shoe box.
