With the arrival of his Social Security card today, Daniel’s just about completed his collection of official paperwork. I guess that makes him legal and official and all that. It really trips me out to see his name printed on forms and whatnot. I guess I’m not dreaming! 🙂

This morning we got a picture of Daniel with Mimi.

Papa made fun of Mama when she left her cross stitch pictures hanging in Daniel’s room.  Well, Daniel likes his cross stitch kitties that are hanging over his changing table.  During diaper changes, Daniel loves to stare at his kitties.  Today he was even grinning and laughing about his kitties.

Look at the cheeks on our boy.  He is certainly not underfed.

Yay! Daniel graduated from (P)reemie to (N)ewborn diapers a couple weeks ago (one tiny diap was withheld for purposes of future comparison), and in the last few days he’s moved on along to the (1) size! Granted, we have to overlap the tabs like mad because he’s still got something of a narrow butt… but it’s a long narrow butt, and those BABY diapers won’t fit my BOY anymore! Like Mimi says, he’s not underweight – he’s overlong. 🙂

Daniel always has his hands in or around his mouth and face.  I guess he finally decided to share with Papa.

The little cutie pie is one month old today!  He now weighs 8 pounds 6 ounces and is 21 1/4 inches long.

Because it was stressful for little guy to go to the doctor, we didn’t have a good opportunity for a picture today. 🙁  So here are a couple of pictures to show how far we’ve come.
