Mammy gave Daniel a magnetic construction set that has magnetic sticks and balls.  Poppy showed Daniel that the sticks could go on the refrigerator, so now Daniel likes to do that all the time.  It makes for some really funny refrigerator art.

Recently when Daniel and Poppy went to the drug store, a lady there gave Daniel this little snow globe light.  Here Daniel shines it on several surfaces and caps it off with a little disco dancing.

Daniel’s Grand-dad and Maw-maw gave him a racing car ramp set for Christmas.  He loads the cars himself and races them.

Daniel is 20 months old today.  He has started watching America’s Funniest Home Videos and likes the videos where people fall.  Daniel has started “falling” himself for the laugh.

Santa brought some great things for Daniel, because Daniel was such a good little boy this year.  Santa brought Daniel a shopping cart, Elmo, and an airplane.  Santa stuffed Daniel’s stocking with Sesame Street books, Sesame Street figures, balls and bean bags.

These are some sticker books, a coloring/activity book and crayons from Poppy and Mimi.  Note that the nap has not caused Daniel to forget about Bert, who Daniel immediately takes back up as his present opening companion.  Also, the nap has not caused Daniel to slow down his pace on this present opening thing.  He immediately picks up the next one when he finishes opening one.

Daniel loves the “Farmer in the Dell” song that the trackor from Grand-dad and Maw-maw plays.  He is playing his drum from Pappy along with it.
