Corny
Mama made Daniel an ear of corn yesterday. Daniel discovered it in his play pen this morning. I think it has gas.
CornyMama made Daniel an ear of corn yesterday. Daniel discovered it in his play pen this morning. I think it has gas. Let the babbling beginI knew babies Daniel’s age babbled, but he’s always been so deliberate with his “talking” I didn’t know if he would or not. Well, the babbling has begun, and it’s really cute. Just plain sillyAs Daniel begins to feel better as he recovers from his illness, he can act just plain silly. All dressed up with no place to goSince Daniel is recovering from bronchiolitis from RSV, he can’t get out lest he catch something else. So we got dressed up today and took some pictures, but just had to hang around the house.
Talented feetDaniel can even work his gears with his feet. yt:fiZaArUn5_s MumbleWhen Daniel talks with a bottle in his mouth, it sounds like that’s the only reason you can’t understand him. I wonder if my dentist could understand him. yt:hJP4_gZdTpU More Pen PlayI love to watch Daniel in his play pen. The way he plays with each toy just fascinates me. yt:auPmVANjv-I A Mimi VisitDaniel visited Mimi today. Mimi and Poppy had a couple of new toys for Daniel. One was a colorful wooden caterpiller and the other was a wire maze toy. Daniel was really taken with it. He loves moving beads over wires. Here is Daniel playing with the wire maze. He has his arm around a panda that Mimi’s sister Lynda gave her years ago. Daniel loves to play with this panda on his Mimi visits.
Mimi brought out a doll. First Daniel gave her a kiss.
Mimi showed Daniel how the doll could drink from her bottle. Mimi got a big giggle when Daniel decided to drink her bottle instead.
Heard but not seenPoppy often puts Daniel’s Mammy quilt over his jumper. Daniel thinks it’s very funny. Here Papa has covered the jumper with one of Mama’s afghans. yt:s5ddse2TZMI Having the crudWhat we thought was just a cold at first developed into full blown crud (I know that’s a terribly sophisticated term for it). Daniel has had it for nearly a week now and is beginning to improve, but has a way to go. In this picture he is in his play pen playing with Hugo the Dog’s tag. He just had to have a bath after I discovered a gob of dried snot in his hair after his nap. Poor boy is sick of being sick. |
